After much deliberation I decided to download Panikko's freesound.org/people/panikko/ firework track from freesound.org freesound.org/people/panikko/sounds/129684/
Note: This work is licensed under the CC Attribution Noncommercial License.

Decided the "whoosh" sound was going to be the canvas, the middle crackling became percussion and the final explosion became the bass drum. After cutting and chopping, added a few effects on each track and included a percolating synth sound.
